INITIATIVES

A non-for-profit social economic association dedicated to the promotion of culture, La Ligne Bleue’s mission is to encourage people within the art world to head towards venues located along the blue line of the Montreal metro. Through a range of promotional tools and events for metro riders and the general public, La Ligne Bleue, brings people closer to the arts.

MASSIVart, in association with the Segal Center, organized an exhibition for the opening of La Ligne Bleue. An ambitious project, La Ligne Bleue emphasizes artistic and cultural vitality, encourages the involvement of the community and facilitates accessibility to arts and culture in the neighbourhoods close to the blue line metro of Montreal. The exhibition brings together a selection of ten artists and thirty artworks around one theme: the BLUE colour.

RESULTS

An exhibition which allowed the dissemination of the work of ten artists through more than thirty pieces presented for one year, highlighting the birth of a new project of cultural dialogue in Montreal.
