For Montréal en Lumière’s 2013 “Nuit Blanche”, OPTIC took over “The Vivoir” located in the Montreal W Hotel, a location renowned for its artistic excellence at the annual festivities of “Nuit Blanche”.
A multimedia work of art, its inception thanks to the collaboration between MASSIVart and Vj Video Girl, was a polygonal installation. Through its video application, it had the ability to capture your attention through optical illusion games. Inspired by the OPTIC graphic universe, a photography exhibition also took place in the Montreal W Hotel with photographers Marion Carassou-Maillan, Caroline Dejeneffe, and Baillat Cardell & Fils.
More than 1,500 people flowed through the event captured by an artistic video recorded to cover the two-month long exhibition, following “Nuit Blanche”.
This event was supported by SAT (Sociteteé des arts technologiques), MadMapper, Modul8, Videogirl and Marjolaine Olivier (cut vinyl).
